the inspection consisted

of selective

examinations

of procedures

and representative

interviews with personnel,

by the inspector.

No violations or deviations

were identified during this inspection.

However,

the enclosed

inspection report describes

a concern regarding auxiliary

feedwater

system train separation

in the routing of the steam line for the

turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater

pump through. the

room containing the

safety-related

motor-driven auxiliary feedwater

pump.

While we recognize that

the issue

has

been raised in the past,

appropriate

management

attention to the

evaluation

and resolution of the concern should

be prov>ded.

In accordance

with 10 CFR Part 2.790(a),

a copy of this letter and the

enclosure will be placed in the

NRC Public Document
