The siren portion of the PVNGS Site %arning Siren/Public Address System willbe simulated. The public address portion of this system willbe used.
Use of.the Offsite Siren Activation System willbe simulated.
Siren sounding willnot occur. Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) messages willbe generated and distributed, but not broadcast.
The warnings willbe disseminated among the exercise participants through the emergency communi-cations system and to the representative resident group through a supplemental warning team for the evacuation.
Onsite assembly and accountability willbe simulated.
However, onsite evacuation to an offsite assembly area. will be completed by a representative group of 20-30 mdividuals (simulating evacuees).
A simulated contaminated injured individual willbe treated onsite and transported offsite for treatment at Good Samaritan Hospital by AirEvac helicopter.
The in-plant Post Accident Sampling System (PASS) willbe
.utilized to demonstrate the utilities ability to draw a primary system chemistry sample during accident conditions.
