PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION Steam Generator Tube Plugging License No. NPF-74 Docket No.
STN 50-530 Special Report 3-SR-91-001 This special report is provided pursuant to Palo Verde Unit 3 Technical Specifications 4.4.4.5(a) and 6.9.2 to report the number of steam generator tubes plugged as a result of inservice inspection activities.
On April 15, 1991, Unit 3 was in a refueling outage with the core off-loaded to the Spent Fuel Pool when an inservice inspection of both steam generators was completed.
The inspection resulted in the plugging of two (2) tubes in Steam Generator No.
1 and one (1) tube in Steam Generator No.
2.
Pursuant to Technical Specification 4.4.4.5(b),
the complete results of the steam generator tube inservice inspection will be submitted by April 15, 1992.
