As previously advised by letter of the under-signed dated November 6,
- 1987, the undersigned, on behalf of El Paso Electric Company (El Paso),
proposed consummation of two sale and leaseback transactions on or about November 18, 1987 with respect to a portion of its ownership interest in Unit 3
(the "Unit 3
Interest" ).
You are hereby given notice that the pro-posed closing date has been rescheduled to a date no earlier than December 8,
- 1987, which is at least (a) nine (9)'ays following November 23, 1987, the date of your receipt of this notice and (b) seven (7) days fol-lowing the expiration date (October 23, 1987) of the comment period specified in the Federal Register notice (52 Fed.
