Follow-up to NRC/ANPP Management Meeting File: 87-020-404 87-056-026 During the referenced
- meeting, ANPP outlined our current plans to reduce the number of bogus annunciators and our target goals.
As a follow-up to the meeting, the following is provided for your information:
ANPP's initial goal is to reduce the number of bogus annunciators in Units 2
and 3 to twenty-five (25). Unit 2 is scheduled to obtain the target goal at the completion of its first refueling.
Unit 3 is scheduled to obtain the target goal within 120 days of commercial operation.

ANPP's initial goal for Unit 1 is to reduce the number of bogus annunciators to thirty (30) within 90 days of the completion of the current outage (the difference in numbers is due to additional "common" annunciators installed in Unit 1).
3.
ANPP is currently developing an Annunciator Evaluation Program which is scheduled for implementation in December, 1987.
4.
ANPP has initiated a Design Reliability Analysis to evaluate existing hard-ware.
The analysis is scheduled for completion in November, 1988.
