Dear Mr. Knighton:
Paragraph 2.
B of Facility Operating Licenses No.
NPF-41 and NPF-51 requires that the licensees notify the NRC in writing of any change, in the Arizona Nuclear Power Project (ANPP)
Participation Agreement.
ln the referenced
- letter, ANPP notified the NRC that Amendment No.
11 of the ANPP Participation agreement had been circulated to all the Participants for execution.
Unexecuted copies of such Amendment No.
11 were provided with such notification.
Amendment No.
11 has since been executed in the same form as the unexecuted copies previously submitted.
Copies of Amendment No.
11 as so executed are attached hereto.
As stated in the referenced
- letter, Amendment No.
11 will accomplish two objec-tives; first, it establishes a
method for computing the administrative and gen-eral expenses incurred by the ANPP operating
- agent, which are charged to the ANPP Participants, in connection with the startup and pre-operation of each of the Palo Verde units.
- Second, the amendment formally acknowledges that the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, is an ANPP Participant and a party to the ANPP Participation Agreement with a Generation Entitlement Share (and joint ownership interest) in Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station of 5.7X.
