Dear Mr. Knighton:
Reference (1) identifies-operating experience of shift staffing as an issue relating to PVNGS Unit 3 which is still outstanding.
Attached please find a summary of the Palo Verde Unit 3 Operations experience base for staff review.
To document the experience
- base, summary tables have been completed for nine SROs that currently fulfillthe six months "hot" experience requirement (with six weeks
>207o power).
Six individuals meeting the requirement will be assigned on-shift in Unit 3.
"Hot" experience levels gained at PVNGS begin with initial Mode 3 entry and are current as of December 31, 1986.
By submittal of this information, we believe the issue of operating experience of shift staffing for Unit 3 has been addressed and can be closed out.
