SUBJECT:
REANALYSIS OF REACTOR COOLANT PUMP SEIZED ROTOR AND LOSS OF ALL NON-EMERGENCY AC POWER As a result of several conference calls, you supplied some clarifying in-formation concerning the reactor coolant pump seized rotor and loss of all non-emergency AC power accidents.
In reviewing this information, several areas of apparent conflict have been identified.
These areas are covered in the enclosure to this letter and were telecopied to your staff on January 26 and February 2, 1984.
It is requested that you provide responses to these requests for clarifica-tion as early as possible in order for the staff to complete its review.
Our current schedule calls for the review to be completed by the Reactor System Branch by February 29, 1984.
