Units 1, 2, and 3 Docket Nos. STN 50-528, 50-529, 50-530 License Nos. NPF41, NPF-51, NPF-74 Licensee Event Report 96-001-01 Attached please find Supplement 1 to Licensee Event Report (LER)96-001 prepared and submitted pursuant to 10CFR50.73.
This supplement provides. new information on the root cause and conditions reported in the original LER.
Post-fire event efforts were directed towards ensuring plant safetyevaluating the plant for potential design deficiencies, ensuring compliance with,fire protection requirements, and implementing design modifications.
Since the LER was issued, APS has performed additional evaluations 'to determine the safety significance of the conditions reported in the original LER.
APS has subsequently determined that the fire event and identified design deficiencies do not adversely, affect the plants'bility to achieve and maintain safe shutdown.
.In accordance with 10CFR50.73(d),
a copy of this LER is being forwarded to the Regional Administrator, NRC Region IV.
