PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION STEAM GENERATOR TUBE PLUGGING License No. NPF-41 Docket No. STN-528 Special Report 1-SR-87-025 This special report is required by Palo Verde Unit 1 Technical Specification 3.4.4 section 4.4.4.5 REPORTS a, within 15 days following the completion of each inservice inspect~>on o
steam generator tubes.
On December 5,
- 1987, Palo Verde Unit 1 was in Mode 5
(COLD SHUTDOWN), when an inservice inspection of both steam generators was completed.
The inspection resulted in the plugging of 11 tubes in steam generator number 1 and 1 tube in steam generator number 2.
The complete results of the steam generator tube inservice inspection will be submitted to the Commission in a Special Report within 12 months following completion of the inspection as required by Technical Specification section 4.4.4.5 REPORTS b.
