has opted'o utilize sample plan, 2, of. Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement 4.7.9.e for functional testing of snubbers during the Unit 2 Refueling Outage scheduled to begin mid February, 1988.
This notification is being made pursuant to Technical Specification 4.7.9, which requires that the NRC Regional Administrator b'e notified in writing of the sample-plan'elected prior to the test period.
The test period is currently scheduled to begin the end of February, 1988.
