We have xev1ewed your request, detailed in the above referenced letter, fox a cost estimate to install a special circuit fox contingency telecommunications use by the NRC at PVNGS in the event of a significant emexgency.
We estimate a cost of no more than 45,000.00 for the following:
1)
Install a
weathexpxoof box on the roof of the Administration Annex Building.
2)
Install two, two-pa1x communications cables between the EOF (NRC Office) and the weathexpxoof
- box, leaving approximately fifteen feet of cable coiled inside the box.
3)
Texminate both ends of the cables with WE-742 connectors, supplied by NRC Region V.
4)
Tag the c1xcuits fox exclusive NRC use.
Actual cost fox labor and materials will be billed against your puxchase order after'he work is completed.

license 'to use available space on the noxtheast quadrant of the roof of Turbine Building No.
1 and the northwest quadrant of the roof'f Turbine Building No.
3 which NRC deems suitable for the installation, at NRC's
- expense, of xepeatex stations furnished by NRC fox contingency telecommunications in the event of an emergency, including the right of ingress and egress,,to such space using existing facilities for access for the installation, operation, and maintenance of such xepeatex stations.
Any 'electrical connections xequixed for installation, operation, maintenance, ox lighting of the repeater stations shall be made by ANPP maintenance personnel.
It is our understanding that such repeater stations will be installed only in the event of an actual emergency, but this will not be a condition of the license.
