Dear Sir:

In our response (Reference B) to the subject Notice of Violation, the NRC's question concerning the qualification of the welding inspectors was over-looked.

To respond to the issue of whether the HVAC subcontractor weld inspectors were qualified to inspect the welds found to be deficient, Bechtel will review the certification records of the HVAC subcontractor personnel who performed welding inspections during the applicable time period.

This review will be completed by June 14, 1985.
