Operating License, NPF-34, I am hereby certifying that Item l.a of Attachment 1 to the license has been completed for the initial entry into Mode 2.

The operability of systems required for Mode 2 has been demon-strated by successfully meeting the acceptance criteria in the PVNGS Technical Specifications.

This has been accomplished by the completion of the applicable surveillance tests or by pre-operational testing which verifies the meeting requirements of the Technical Specifications and which were performed within the required surveillance interval or by operability as demonstrated for Modes 3, 4, 5 and 6.
