STN 50-528 License No. NPP-34 This Special Report is required by Technical Specifications Table 3.3-6, ACTION 27-2 and Specification 6.9.2.
On April 24, 1985't
- 1350, the 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> ACTION statement for Operability of Containment Area Radiation Monitors RU-148 and RU-149 was exceeded.
These detectors, and associated
- cables, had been removed for a total manufacturer's rework.
This was necessary because of the failure of the qualification testing that was required by the original purchase order.
A Justification for Interim Operation (JIO) had been submitted by the
- Licensee, and approved by the NRC, as stated on Page 3-7 of Supplement 7
to the Licensee's SER.
As indicated in the Supplement, these detectors will be installed and meet full qualifications by July 31, 1985.
Interim operation has been defined in letter ANPP-31297-EEVB/MWH/WFQ
- dated, December 3, 1984.
