Dear Mr. Knighton:

Reference (2) submitted a Justification for Interim Operation (JIO) for PVNGS Unit 1 in order to,complete the installation of environmentally qualified ITT Barton transmitters.

Accordingly, by the issuance of the Unit 1 Operating License, the NRC Staff has imposed license condition 2.C.6(c) for ANPP to complete modifications to the ITT Barton transmitters prior to initial criticality.

ANPP confirms that the modifications to the transmitters have been completed and these transmitters are now environmentally qualified for use at PVNGS in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.49.

Reference (3) submitted a JIO in order to complete the modifications to the Valcor Solenoid Valves.

Subsequently,'he NRC Staff has imposed license condition 2.C.6(c) for ANPP to complete the modifications to the Valcor Solenoid Valves prior to initial criticality.

ANPP has completed the modifications and these Solenoid Valves are now environmentally qualified for use at PVNGS in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.49.

Reference (4) submitted a JIO in order to finish the modifications to the two contain-ment sump resistance temperature detectors (RTDs).

The NRC Staff has imposed license condition 2.C.6(c) for ANPP to complete the modifications prior to initial criticality.

ANPP confirms that the subject modifications have been completed.

The containment sump RTDs are fully qualified for use at PVNGS in acordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.49.
