SUMMARY
OF MEETING TO DISCUSS CPC SOFTWARE MODIFICATIONS A meeting was held on February 6, 1985, in Bethesda, Maryland with representatives of the applicant and Combustion Engineering.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss proposed responses to the staff's request for information, dated January 31, 1985, concerning modifications to the Palo Verde Core Protection Calculator (CPC)
- software, which are discussed in the applicant's letter of December 3, 1984.
Enclosure 1 lists the meeting attendees and the meeting is summarized as follows.

~Summar The applicant's letter of December 3, 1984 had identified the modifications to the CPC software and provided reasons for the changes (e.g., design'odificat'ions and more current evaluations).
In order to complete"its review of the CPC software modifications, the staff had requested"addition'al information (letter dated January 31, 1985) about the analyses that were"performed to obtain the revised constants.
I At the meeting, the applicant discussed its proposed responses to the staff's January 31 request.
Following the discussion," the applicant agreed to modify the responses to account for staff comments before the responses are formally submitted.
The applicant stated that the responses will be transmitted in late February 1985.
