Dear Mr. Knighton:
On October 10 and ll, 1984 the staff conducted an on-site audit of the PVNGS CRDR.
As part of this audit the staff verified completion of the Control Room Human Engineering Discrepancies (HED's) that were previously described by Reference (1).
During the audit APS identified 4 remaining HED's to be completed prior to PVNGS Unit 1 Fuel Load and committed to send in the required HED confirmation letter upon completion of the 4 remaining HED corrections.
As of the date of this letter, APS has completed the corrective actions for the following HED's:
(1)
A.6.23, SESS Panel Pushbutton Does Not Match Corresponding Annunciator Window (HED 76A).
(2)
A.8.3, Inconsistent Mode Select Sequence for MSR Switch Escutcheon (HED 93C).
(3)
HED 145, Storage/Acquisition of SCBA Kits and Air Bottles In Control Room.

The reason for this item not being complete is due to vendor procurement problems.
We expect to receive. annunciator'enses from the vendor by the end of December and expect to have the HED 'corrective action completed by January 15, 1985.
