Dear Mr. Knighton:
Enclosed are draft proposed FSAR changes for your information.
These changes
- 1) revised the description of the emergency lighting system,
- 2) revise the description of the evacuation and offsite communication systems, and 3) clarify offsite power connections.
These changes are considered acceptable since
- 1) seismic analysis criteria remains consistent with Regulatory Guide 1.29, and the installed locations for emergency lighting are consistent with the requirements for operator access for safe
- shutdown,
- 2) the revised evacuation and communications descriptions meet NUREG 0654 and Standard Review Plan 9.5.2 criteria and are made consistent with the PVNGS Emergency Plan Section 7.2, and 3) the development of the offsite power system has not changed.
These changes are expected to be incorporated in FSAR Amendment 14 to the FSAR which is scheduled for submittal in February 1985.
