Dear Mr. Wenslawski:

In response to our commitment in reference (a),

we have discussed our finalized plans, concerning NRC Deviation Item 50-528/83-41-02 relative to our commitment to Regulatory Guide 1.68, Appendix A, Item 13, with Mr. C.I. Sherman of your staff on September 14, 1984.

Attached please find the Bechtel Technical, Specification (13-NM-997B) and the Science Applications International Corporation Proposal for "Airborne Monitor Sampling Line Plateout and other Measurements at Unit 1, PVNGS" which describe our program to meet our Regulatory Guide testing commitment.

Page four of the Bechtel Specification highlights the Radiation Monitoring System testing to be per-formed.

As agreed to by Mr. Sherman, reference (b), thi s testing will be conducted Post-Fuel Load upon completion of all applicable Radiation Monitoring

System Design

Changes in order to obtain more representative data.
