Dear Mr. Martin:
We are launching a new program to seek out on a more aggres-sive basis concerns as they relate to the construction and safe operation of Palo Verde.
As you are
- aware, for more than. a year we have been operating a special Hotline for workers to report their concerns.
More recently, you will recall, all Palo Verde employees were required to view a media tape in which I discuss the quality and safety issues.
Our new program involves direct communication with all former Bechtel and APS employees at Palo
- Verde, as well as subcontractors and intervenor groups such as the Govern-ment Accountability Project.
Enclosed is a
copy of my letter which will be mailed to all workers inviting them to report their concerns so they can be investigated and corrected if necessary before the plant goes into operation.
I am also enclosing copies of letters addressed to intervenor groups and subcontractors.
If you have any suggestions as to how we could improve upon this effort, I would appreciate hearing from you.
