Dear Mr. Martin:

Arizona Public Service Company has evaluated the ability of Gary E. Wilier to perform his duties at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS),

both licensed and non-licensed

duties, and has concluded that his medical
problem, as disclosed on NRC Form 396, will not impair his ability to per-form his assigned job tasks.

This evaluation is based on the examining physician's statement on NRC Form 396 and supervisor/management observation of Mr. Wilier's past performance in his assigned tasks at PVNGS.
