Submittal of Revision to Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIPs)

Ol, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 35 and the Index.

Dear Mr. Knighton:

Reference (1) reiterated NRC Generic Letter 81-27, dated July 9, 1981, by advising utilities that they must request the NRC to withhold home telephone numbers of personnel, unlisted utility telephone

numbers, etc.

that are contained in emergency plans and implementing procedures from being disclosed to the public.

By Reference (2),

APS submitted to the NRC revisions to the PVNGS EPIPs.

In particular, APS submitted Revision 2

to EPIP 07 which contained the above types of telephone numbers in Appendices F

and G.

Disclosure of these telephone numbers could be detrimental to the overall public health and safety as described in Reference (1).

We request that the NRC remove Appendices F

and G from the recently submitted EPIP 07 prior to placement in the public document room.

In future submittals of revised

EPIPs, APS will have all pages containing privacy or proprietary material identified and will request in the transmittal letter to the NRC that this material be withheld from the public.
