RESPONSE
TO APS LETTER CONCERNING PORV'S FOR PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION.(PVNGS) UNITS 1, 2 5 3 We have received the attached letter from Arizona Public Service Company concerning the staff evaluation of the need for rapid depressurization capability for CE plants.
In order to respond we request you provide us the proposed responses to the applicants comments and particularly their suggestion that the staff revise its conclusions as to the need for PORV's.
Note that we have a deadline of December 5, 1983.
This would require your input by the November 28, 1983 to provide adequate time for management concurrence.
