SUMMARY

OF MEETING ON ENVIRONl1ENTAL QUALIFICATION A meeting was held with the applicant on I<arch 9, 1983 in Bethesda, l1aryland to discuss staff comments on the Palo Verde Environmental Qualification Report.

Attendees for the meeting are listed in Enclosure 1.

The meeting is summarized as follows:

~Summar The applicant's Environmental Qualification Report for Palo Verde had been submitted by letter dated February 7, 1983, in support of the site audit to be conducted by the staff.

The staff's review of the report determined that additional information was required prior to conducting the audit.

At the meeting, the staff identified the specific areas where the additional information is required and stated that a formal request for the information identified would be sent to the applicant.

The applicant stated that it would proceed with the responses in advance of receipt of the formal request.

The applicant indicated that it would attempt to provide the responses in a time frame to support a site audit at the end of April 1983.
