'included in its letter report on PalooVerde, Units 1, 2 and 3, dated December 15, 1981) for an update of Arizona Public Settvice Company's (APS) organizational arrangement for technical support of operations for the Palo Verde plant in aIxtut one year.

Lette.t'rom APS, dated November 18', 1982, responding to the staff's request for an update of the organizational arrangement for technical support of the operating plant.

Staff evaluation of the APS November 18'ubmittal.

This evaluation will be. incorporated into a subsequent supplement to the SER for Palo Verde.

As noted in both of the.'above documents, the APS organization has been realigned to provide for a siggle corporate officer (the Executive VP for ANPP) i>ho is responsible solely for nuclear activities and who reports directly to the Chairman of -the'Board aod, Chief Executive Officer for APS.

In its review of the offsite technical support organizations, the staff notes that the structure has not changed since it was "reviewed by the ACRS in 1981.

However, the support staffing IIYhvels for the various technical disciplines have increased since the
