Dear Mr. Tedesco:
Section 17.5 (pg. 17-7) of the referenced SER discussed deviations from R. 61.37 and 1.38 regarding allowable impurity levels of tapes, adhesives and inks.

Please be advised that the PVNGS design meets the regulatory impurity level guidelines.
Therefore, the PVNGS FSAR exception to Regulatory Guide 1.38, now shown as item E on page 1.8-24B and'item E on page 1.8-25, will be eliminated in the next FSAR amendment.
We believe this action resolves the reference SER open items 16 regarding impurity levels.
