Long Term Oper-ability of Deep Draft Pumps

Dear Mr. Tedesco:

The reference letter provided a document entitled "Guidelines for Demonstration of Operability of Deep Draft Pumps" and requested a description of the extent to which APS deep draft pump long term operability assurance program conforms to the guidelines within 60 days.

It is APS'ntention to respond with the requested information by July 1, 1982 to allow us additional time to contact and evaluate additional information from the pump manufacturer.

Such information will then be used to evaluate con-formance with the guidelines.
