Attached is a revised response to the NRC Structural Engineering Branch Question I/2 originally provided by the reference letter.

This clarifi-cation was requested from the NRC's Structural Engineering Branch in a telephone conversation on October 23, 1981.

The attachment consists of calculations which have been provided by Bechtel Power Corporation and as set forth in the affidavit attached to the reference 1'etter, contain trade secrets or privileged or confidential commercial infor-mation which Bechtel requests be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.

A formal application for withholding such information from public disclosure will be filed in the near future.

Pending receipt and action by the Commission upon such application, it is requested that the attachment be withheld from public disclosure.
