Dear Ms. Kerrigan:
This letter is in response to a request via telecon by Mr. L. Kripps of Energy, Incorporated, to provide.additional information regarding Palo Verde's hydrogen recombiners.
The specific information requested was the design temperature of the recombiners following a LOCA.
The equipment operating environmental conditions specified to our supplier for the hydrogen recombiner are:
TIME AFTER LOCA 35 Hours to 3 Da s 3 Da s to 6 Months Temperature (F) 180 165 We hope this information will assist in the timely preparation of the respective SER section.
