ANPP-17938, May ll, 1981 To clarify our response in reference (2) to your criteria 6 and 13 in reference (1), concerning the emergency operating procedures (EOP) availability for the Control Room Design Review, the following is our course of action.
We are participating in the CE Owner's Group task activity to generate generic EOP guidelines and training materials.
The draft copies of these guidelines have been reviewed and conients have been returned to CE by the participating utilities.
Upon resolution of these
- comments, the guidelines will be formally issued.
We are currently waiting on the issuance of these guidelines.'hen we receive these guidelines, we will begin developing the EOP's.
An additional factor that could impact the development of our EOP's is that we are still awaiting on the pending NRC issuance of the NUREG discussing the preparation and submittal of plant specific EOP's.
We desire to have that available prior to preparing EOP's to minimize our work effort.
