In accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a (a)(2)(ii), we request authorization to use the ASME Code Case listed below'for'the construction of Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station Units 1, 2 and 3.

This Code Case permits the use of metallic bolting materials which meet the code technical requirements, such as material properties and ASME Section III additional requirements for the particular class, but may not have been manufactured or supplied in 'accordance with the rules of NCA-3800 or NA-3700.

N-310, March 6, 1981 - ASME Section III We request you provide us with authorization for use of the Code Case listed as soon as possible.
