Dear Mr. Engelken:

In response to ISE Bulletin No. 80-21, the vendors which supply the safety related active valves for the Balance of Plant have been con-tacted.

Their responses confirm they do not use Malcom Foundry valve parts.

For the NSSS system, thi rteen of the fifteen vendors have confirmed that no valves have been identified as having the potentially faulty material.

We will inform you if we find that either of the remaining two vendors use any of the subject material.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

Very truly yours, EEVBJr/NEf1/av E.
