The NRC was notified yesterday of the following potentially reportable defi-

"ciencies:

DER 80-38: Pipe spools pulled to facilitate installation of pi pe supports may overs tress wel ds DER 80-39: Item 3 Only - Cable tray supports do not meet drawling requirements DER 80-41: 'lass IE conductors come within six inche's (6") of non-class IE conductors on six (6) ITE Gould 480 Volt Load Center Isolation Relay Cabinets As noted in the referenced letter, thirty inter'r final reports are required within (30) days unless a deficiency is evaluated as Not Reportable, in wh'ich case, a written report is not required.

You are requested to evaluate these DER's for reportabi lity and submit your recommendations along with the applicable wri tten reports to APS, in accor-

. dance with the Reference ( 1), by January 5, 1981.
