J. Kerrigan, Project t1anager, Licensing Branch ¹3, DL SUMIARY OF MEETING TO DISCUSS PALO VERDE ENVIRONhfENTAL REVIEW On November 25, 1980 a meeting was held with members of the staff and representatives of Argonne National Laboratory to discuss the Palo Verde environmental review.

hheting attendees are listed in Enclosure l.

It was pointed out in the meeting that any construction related issues should not be addressed in the OL DES, but should be dealt with by some other means such as by modifying the construction permit.

The preliminaty environmental review schedule was discussed and review areas which potentially could not meet the first four milestones of the proposed schedule were identified.

These areas were:

1 RAB review areas>

2 Cultural resources evaluation, and 3

Class 9 accident evaluation The initial milestones of the schedule were revised slightly.to accomodate these areas.

The revised schedule is contained in Enclosure 2.

Consistency with the Bevill schedule (found in Enclosure

3) was maintained by reducing the time allowed for management review and issuance of the OL-DES.
