Dear Sir:
The referenced letter transmitted supplementary information relating to the shipment and receipt of the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station Unit /Il diesel generators.
Unit 81 diesel generators from Cooper Energy Services when received were not in conformance with Cooper Energy Services'tandard SD-40-2N, Paragraph 5.6, in that the generator openings were not barrier sealed as required by Para-graph 5.6.
Subsequently, discussions were held with the supplier to effect appropriate corrective action.
This corrective action was verified by the receipt of the Unit 82 diesel generators which were received with these generator openings properly sealed.
We feel confident that the Unit /I3 diesel generators will arrive at the construction site in full compliance with the supplier's standards.
