Initial Written Retake Examination Administration and Results:
The Chief Examiner offered to make arrangements for the facility licensee to review the SRO and RO initial written examinations before they were administered.
However, the licensee's management declined to pre-review the examination.
Initial retake written examinations were administered to one senior reactor operator (SRO) upgrade applicant and one reactor operator (RQ) applicant at MNP-2 on August 26, 1993.
Both applicants passed their examinations and were subsequently issued licenses.
The site examination facilities and examination security precautions were adequate.
The licensee's training staff provided satisfactory assistance.
At the conclusion of the written examinations, the facility training and operations staffs were given copies of the written examinations and-answer keys (Enclosure
- 2) for a post examination review.
Enclosure (3) is provided to document that the facility licensee had no comments on these examinations.
xit Meetin An exit meeting was held by the NRC Chief Examiner with representatives of the licensee's staff after the post examination review on August 26, 1993.
The licensee did not identify as proprietary any of the materials provided to or reviewed by the examiner during the examination.
