current issues for WNP-2.
The subjects
discussed
during the meeting ar

A copy of the agenda for the meeting,
slides presented
by you
at the meeting,
and
a summary of recent
NRC inspection findings are also
enclosed.
The report also describes
the discussions
we had with members of
your staff on March 26,
1992 regarding the resolution of containment
atmosphere
control
system problems.
A copy of the slides presented
during
that briefing is enclosed.
During the March 27,
1992 meeting you identified several
programs
underway to
address
performance
issues.
It was apparent that you recognize
areas of
weakness
and are committed to improvement.
However,
problems continue to
occur in areas
where previous program improvements for similar issues
should
have prevented
recurrence.
Repetition of past
problems demonstrates"to
us
that, concurrent with the implementation of new improvements,
follow through
on previous
issues
needs to be
a management
and Licensing
and Assurance
priority.
In accordance

NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
