2 (TAC NO. 71741)

By letter dated July 28, 1989, and as supplemented by letters dated September 15,

1989, and March 29, 1990, you provided the Washington Public Power Supply System Nuclear Plant No.

This fulfills the requirement for responding to the Generic Letter.

Although your September 15, 1989, letter identified six enhancements that were being evaluated for possible implementation, they were not required to resolve any of the concerns raised in the Generic Letter.

This completes our efforts on TAC No. 71741.

Should you have any questions on this matter, please contact me.

Sincerely,

/
