This letter refers to the inspection
conducted
by Mr.
W. TenBrook of this
office on March 25-29,
1991.
The inspection
included
a review of activities
authorized for the
WNP-2 facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection,
the
findings were discussed
with those
members of your staff identified in the
enclosed
report.
Areas
examined during this inspection are described
in the report.
Within
these
areas,
the inspection consisted of selective
examinations
of
procedures,
interviews with personnel
and independent
radiological
measurements.
Based
on this inspection,
we understand
you will present
amended
data for
Iron-55 in liquid effluent for the third quarter,
1990, in the next
semi-annual
effluent report, consistent with your investigation of. Iron-55
measurement
discrepancies.
No violations of NRC requirements
were
identified within the scope of this inspection.
In accordance
with 10
CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
