LINE ITEM IMPROVEMENT IN TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS - RE(UIREMENTS RELATED TO SCRAM ACCUMULATORS By letter dated November 17, 1989, Phi ladelphia Electric Company submitted an application to amend the Limerick Generating Station Technical Specification requirements related to scram accumulators.

Because the basis for the proposed change and the staff's evaluation may be applicable to WNP-2, I am providing copies of the documents for your information.

You may wish to propose Technical Specification changes for WNP-2 based on the material provided.

The staff decided not to issue a generic letter on this subject because of the small number of licensees to which the improvement applies.
