Enforcement Conference and Management Meeting This will confirm the telephone discussions on November 9 and 15, 1989 between Mr. P. Johnson of this office and Mr. G. Sorensen of Washington Public Power Supply System concerning an enforcement conference and management meeting to be held between NRC and Supply System representatives beginning at 1:00 p.m.
on November 20, 1989 at the Region V Office.
The purpose of the enforcement conference is to discuss the environmental
.qualification of electrical tape splices used on certain Limitorque motor operated valves and containment cooling fan motors.
In addition, a
management meeting is scheduled to discuss:
(1) the WNP-2 commercial grade procurement program; (2) Limitorque operator bolt torquing issues; (3) the Supply System's response to the latest SALP report; and (4) recent Supply System findings related to turbine trip inoperability.
Enclosures 1 and 2
list the agenda-'.items to be discussed at the enforcement conference and management meeting, respectively.
Also enclosed are copies of the Notices of Significant Licensee Meeting which list the anticipated attendees.
