Request for a Heetina on Geology/Seismology for the llNP-2 Facility Following our meetinq with you on January 27, 1981, in Bethesda, Md. on the geology and seismology of the Hanford Reservation, we recoanized that we need a follow-up meeting on this same topic.
The purpose of this meeting which we propose for I<arch 31, 1981, would be to narrow the focus and scope of the discussion to those specific items on which the staff will base its reevaluation of the seismicity of the region encompassing the site of the lOP-2 facility.
To accomplish this, we request that you send no more than six individuals to represent you at this meeting.
l<e intend to cover a broad range of topics.in the fields of geology and seismoloay.
t Following our discussion on March 31st, we will issue a formal set of questions relating to the geology/seismology of the hINP-2 site.
