The purpose of this meeting
was to discuss
the results of INRC's regional evaluation of licensee
performance
regarding
activities authorized
by
NRC Construction Permit No.
CPPR-93.
A sumIary report
of the meeting
and supporting data are enclosed.
Items discussed
during the meeting included
a summary of the findings and
evaluation of the
NRC regional
review board regarding
compliance with NRC
requirements
at the Washington
Nuclear Project
No.
2 during the period April
1979 through April 1980, specific areas
of concern
and matters requiring corrective
actions
by MPPSS
and
a summary of the. findings and evaluation of an investigation
into the activities of your 215 contractor
(MBG).
The areas of concern
and
required corrective actions are delineated in the
NRC Office of Inspection
and Enforcement Director's letter to you of June
17, 1980.
In accordance
with Section 2.790 of the
NRC's "Rules of Practice",
Part
2
Title 10,
Code of Federal
Regulations,
a copy of this letter
and its enclosures
will be placed in the Nuclear Regulatory
Commission's
Document
Room.
