Dear Dr. Mecredy:
In a letter dated December 21, 1998, Rochester Gas and Electric corporation submitted Revision 26 to the Quality Assurance Program for Station Operation.
Revision 26 incorporates the following changes:

Organization-related changes associated with the reorganization of the Nuclear Operations groups.
~
Clarification of methods used to control supplier performance.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has determined that additional information is required to complete our review. The request for additional information is enclosed.
This matter was discussed with your representative during a telephone conversation on February 16, 1999.
It is requested that the information be provided by March 19, 1999, and that you refrain from implementing the above changes until the staff completes its review.
