Accession Nos. ML17159A442 and ML17167A067), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued safety evaluations to FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) for the use of alternatives and relief from certain American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Code of Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants (OM Code) requirements for Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2.

During FENOCs review of the safety evaluations (SEs), it identified minor errors and notified the NRC on August 10, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17248A017) with the error descriptions.

The NRC staff reviewed the errors and determined that the proposed corrections do not change the conclusions associated with the safety evaluations. The corrected SEs are available publicly (ADAMS Accession Nos. ML17255A508 and ML17255A526).
