E. GINNA RESIDENTANSPECTION 50-244/92-03 (3/10/92 - 4/18/92)
This letter transmits the March 10 to April 18, 1992 inspection findings of Messrs.
T. Moslak and E, Knutson at the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
At the end of the
inspection, Mr. T. Moslak of my staff summarized
the findings with Mr. J. Widay and other
members of your staff.
The inspection examined the overall control of activities during plant shutdown and
cooldown, mid-loop operations,
reactor refueling,'nd outage maintenance activities.
Within
this scope, good procedural adherence
was observed during the transition from power
operation to cold shutdown.
Management
support and effective interdepartmental
cooperation was evident in the coordination of outage maintenance activities to date.
