Correction to Amend-ment 42 to facility operating

Dear Mr. Johnson:
Amendment No.
42 was approved by reference (a).
This amendment revised the requirements of the Technical Specifications regarding the method of securing valve MOV-856 in the open position.
Previously A.C. power was removed from the valve, whereas now the valve will be secured by removal of D.C. control power with a key-lock switch.
The purpose of this letter is-to notify you that the modification controlling the installation and testing of the key-lock switch was completed during the 1992 refueling outage.
This notification satisfies the NRC request in reference (a').
Amendment No.
42 was implemented prior to the Reactor Coolant system temperature exceeding 350 F as required by section= 3.1.1.1.g, of the amended Technical Specification.
