Programmed
Enhancements
described
"Loss of Decay Heat
Removal."
The inspection
was conducted
by Mr. D. T.
Moy of this office on
August 12-16,
1991, at the Robert
E. Ginna nuclear plant, Ontario,
Mr. Moy discussed
the results of the inspection with Mr. Joe
Widay and other
numbers of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas
examined during this safety inspection
are described
in the
NRC Region I
Inspection
Report which is enclosed with the letter.
Within these
areas,
the
inspection consisted of selected
examinations
of Mid Loop Operating
procedures,
representative
calculation records,
interviews with plant technical
personnel,
and general
observations
by the inspector.
The inspector verified that the programmed
Enhancements
described
in your
response
to Generic Letter 88-17 (dated
February
1,
1991) were adequately
implemented'ithin
the
scope of this inspection,
no violations were observed.
