Electnc Corporation submitted the first of two required responses to the suhjec GL)for the Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
Noting that you have committed to each of t e five recommended actions of GL 89-13, or to an equally effective alternative course of action for one or more of them, we accept your response as fulfilling this requirement of the GL.
We remind you that if a licensee or applicant chooses a course of action different from the recommended actions of the GL, the licensee or applicant should document and retain in appropriate plant records a justification that the heat removal requirements of the service water system are satisfied by 'use of the alternative program.
We look forward to receiving the second of the two required responses to GL 89-13.
